DVLA INTRODUCES TERTIARY STUDENTS DRIVE (TertDrive)

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), as part of strategic initiatives being introduced to engender improved services, has come up with a service that would promote the issuing of driver’s licence to tertiary students throughout the country before they come out of school.

The product which is christened Tertiary Students Drive (TertDrive) seeks to grant opportunity to all students who are willing to acquire a driver’s licence to do so in the comfort and convenience of their campuses.

The essence is to make it possible for students who currently drive but do not have a driver’s licence to drive legally and for those who will, after school, find jobs that would require driving ability to be able to provide a driving licence and not lose the job opportunity.
